The B&B is located above Studio Basalt of ceramics artist Renske Wierda.

In the B & B you use the handmade crockery from Atelier Basalt.
Stavoren, one of the Frisian eleven cities, is the ideal place for boaters, hikers,
cyclists, nature lovers and so on. The rolling countryside with the forests
of Gaasterland is within cycling distance as are the Frisian Lakes.
Culture and Folklore, restaurants with cosy terraces, all this can be found in and around Stavoren.
